We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field User Support Specialist with expertise in the Microsoft stack. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of their systems and applications. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft software and systems, including Windows OS, Office 365, and other Microsoft applications.
- Assist users with hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring all devices are properly connected and operational.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring seamless access to corporate resources.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices for using Microsoft software and tools.
- Document support activities, issues, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to the support process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a field support capacity.
- Strong proficiency with most common end user software, namely Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, Office 365.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ITIL practices.
- Experience supporting mobile devices and remote access solutions.
